    The certificate is dated December 4, 1915.
    The company was incorporated in Maine in 1913 and was an early producer of submarines for the US Navy.
    The certificate was signed by founder Simon Lake.
    There are good histories of the company and Simon Lake available online.
    Simon Lake formed the Lake Torpedo Boat Company in 1901 and closed it in 1924.  It was located at the end of Seaview Avenue in Bridgeport Connecticut
