Description

Hello and welcome
This auction is for an authentic, original and RARE concert poster for BO DIDDLEY and opening band Tractor performing at The Ark in Alexandria, Virginia on June 5, 6 & 7, circa 1969 or 1970.
(After much research, that's as close as I can determine the year to be.)
***BO DIDDLEY and his signature "Bo Diddley Beat" influenced the early music of many rock 'n' rollers over the years, from Buddy Holly in the 1950s to The Rolling Stones in the 1960s to Tom Petty in the 1970s.***
The size of this poster is approximately 14.125" x 21.5", printed with red ink and black text on thick, light purple colored paper.
(The front side of this poster is a considerably lighter purple color than the back side, due to fading & aging. My last photo shows the back of the poster for comparison).
T
he condition is Very Good (VG) with two horizontal creases across the poster,
handling creases,
corner creases, edge wear, a thumbtack hole in each corner plus fading, aging &
discoloration
of the purple paper.
The photos I've attached are of the actual poster being offered.
Please ask any questions you may have before bidding, however
I do not
respond to counteroffers.
Rolled shipping in a sturdy cardboard tube is via USPS Priority Mail and costs .00, which includes tracking & full insurance.
