Whether a collector of antique and vintage bulldogs, or wanting that PERFECT ACCESSORY to display as a CANINE COMPANION for your antique French Fashion or all bisque doll, you will love this little miniature PRECIOUS POOCH!
This sweet little guy is of GERMAN ORIGIN circa 1900, and measures 3 1/4" long from his head to his tail, 2 1/2" high to the top of his head, and is 1 3/4" tall to the top of his back.  He is made of chocolate brown ENAMELED PAINTED metal and molded with AMAZING DETAIL, including his cocked head and the long jowls and woebegone expression on his face, the folded wrinkles on his skin, his muscular little bowed legs, and last (but not least!) the intricate modeling of his private parts-----so INCREDIBLY REALISTIC!
He is marked underneath with raised modeled lettering "GERMANY" and is circa 1900.  He has been gently aged over the years as there is some paint loss to the enameling on the metal, but you will find this adorable little dog still DISPLAY READY even after being over a century old!
We think this sweet guy would be a wonderful companion for your smaller size antique dolls, so for scale purposes our 13" French Fashion doll as well as our 7" all bisque doll, both not included in this offering, are doing the modeling honors---we will let you decide who his new owner should be!
