ESQUIRE "SCUFF-KOTE" SHOE POLISH IN BOX with MR. PEANUT PREMIUM PRIZE
- Late 1950s - early 1960s Esquire Scuff-Kote. Original 2.25" square x 5" colorful graphic box.
Box features great graphic advertising for Planters Creamy Peanut Butter & "Free Mr. Peanut Prize Inside". Included is the actual prize, a Mr. Peanut balloon. 5.5" long balloon is very displayable & still flexable.
Unopened glass bottle inside contains original contents, apparently unused. An uncommon Planters advertising display with an equally uncommon Mr. Peanut premium.
Condition of box is GOOD to FAIR with minimal surface/stain/edge wear. No breaks on bottle. Balloon is still supple, though probably will not take air (there appears to be a small hole at upper tip area). Box is especially bold and bright, making for a superior display. Planters advertising appearing 3 times (2 sides & inner top flap).
A great addition to any VINTAGE PLANTERS PEANUTS MEMORABILIA collection. On a condition code scale of 1 to 10, the above listed item(s) rated (7+).
